Massa retires at Selmer, promotions announced. (Selmer Co. Vice President John D. Massa)
At The Selmer Company, John D. Massa and Louie M. Heerwagen Jr., vice-presidents, have retired; Bernd P. Lieberg has joined as a vice-president; and David Doolittle and John L. Creachbaum have been promoted.
John D. Massa, vice-president of sales administration, joined Selmer in 1971 and has been a corporate officer since 1989, supervising sales administration, dealer and customer relations, and the Export Department. Prior to joining Selmer he was associated with The Lionel Corporation and The Ampeg Company in various distribution and administrative sales capacities. He remained with Ampeg when it became a division of Selmer in 1972, ultimately serving as general manager until its sale in 1980. He then became customer service manager of Vincent Bach …
