Ho Chi Minh City: Ho Chi Minh City will continue halting poultry farming until February 2007 or beyond for fear of a new round of human bird flu outbreaks. At a meeting of the Steering Board for an emergency plan on bird flu prevention on 19 August, Huynh Huu Loi, head of the city's Veterinary Department, said the measure will be implemented until other regional countries and other provinces of Vietnam control the epidemic.
