After getting trade union status, the Botswana Teachers Union (BTU) is now out to become the sole teachers' labour organisation, its secretary general Keorapetse Kgasa has said. BTU is the original teachers' organisation before splits saw the formation of Botswana Secondary Teachers Union (BOSETU), Association of Botswana Tertiary Lecturers (ABOTEL) and Botswana Primary Teachers Association.
