Clay Becker knew he had to get two important considerations right when he founded the Classy Chassis Auto Show three years ago. First, if you intend to stage a car show in Houston in June, it should be in the biggest air-conditioned hall you can find and second, the cars should have a sufficient wow factor.

Reliant Stadium, home of the NFL's Houston Texans, is plenty big and satisfyingly cool, and the collection of rare and vintage cars gave the estimated crowd of about 10,000 at this year's show much to salivate over.

"We wanted to give the public a chance to come to Reliant Stadium when it's 95 degrees outside, spend some time with family and friends and share car stories,'' Becker says of the show, a benefit for United Cerebral Palsy of Greater Houston. "Our goal is to raise a lot of money for UCP and make this one of the top giant car events in the country.''
