Combs district's voters mull unification: Area's teens attend 3 high schools.

Aug. 4--High school students residing in the J.O. Combs Elementary School District are enrolled in three districts this fall as Combs voters decide whether to become a unified district with a high school.

Most of these students have attended Queen Creek High School in the past, but overcrowding has prompted the Queen Creek Unified School District to restrict how many Combs students it will accept.

Any Combs student who previously attended Queen Creek High, or any student who completed eighth grade in Combs during the 2005-06 school year, can attend Queen Creek High this fall. Any student new to the district has to choose…
