Aug. 4--The 2006 hurricane season, which has yet to reach its peak, may not be as bad as earlier feared. Better still, the chances of another behemoth killer, like last year's Hurricane Katrina, are low, according to researchers. The likelihood of another Katrina is "very small," said Phillip Klotzbach, who heads the Colorado State University research team organized by William Gray, who has been a leader in hurricane-activity forecasting for 23 years.
