Section: Regional News - Vietnam's new Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung will chair the yet-to-be-appointed Central Anti-Corruption Committee.

The prime minister's role was identified when he assigned the tasks and responsibilities of himself and his three deputy prime ministers.

The duty announcement, which follows the election of the quartet at the last sitting of the National Assembly, says the prime minister will lead in all aspects, activities and functions of government.

He will act in accordance with Vietnam's constitution and laws and will guide and supervise all important works as well as oversee strategic matters.
