Aug. 2--Bear Creek High School will be at the top of the list to receive money for campus upgrades if north Stockton voters support a $114million bond measure in November's election, but it won't be the first project to break ground.
The Lodi Unified School District Board of Trustees voted 6-1 Tuesday evening to approve upgrades to Bear Creek High School, which include new science labs and a swimming pool, the top priority of the proposed Measure L.
However, Podesto Ranch Elementary School in north Stockton will be the first project to break ground, district Superintendent Bill Huyett said.
