October 30,1974 was a big day for the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), formerly known as Zaire. The capital city, Kinshasa, was host to one of the most important fights ever in the history of boxing. Muhammad Ali versus George Foreman in what was dubbed "The Rumble in the Jungle", was one of the key highlights for the entire continent in the 1970s.
