THE Chieftaincy of Military Intelligence (CMI) has recaptured one of the seven high profile suspects who escaped from Makindye Military Police barracks jail last month.

Pte Julius Rwabwoba, was recaptured from Ibanda district last week on a tip off, military sources said yesterday. The fugitive, a serving UPDF soldier under service number RA 16535.2, was detained on charges of robbery.

But top security officials said intelligence reports indicate Rwabwoba's six colleagues fled Uganda into a neighbouring country, which they declined to disclose for fear of a diplomatic war. Defence …
