Jul. 27--One of the longest-running and most successful jam bands will bring its grooves to the metro area next week.
Blues Traveler will headline an 8 p.m. concert Monday at the Mid-America Center. The band performed in November 2005 at Harrah's Casino.
The five-member group is touring in support of its eighth studio album, 2005's "Bastardos!"
"This is just us being completely ourselves and not thinking about what we should be doing," guitarist Chan Kinchla said of the album in a press release. "Before we made this record, we decided, 'Let's just make records that we love and regardless of how they do ...
