Last Wednesday United Business Media announced plans to acquire Commonwealth Business Media, the parent of The Journal of Commerce and its conference business, as well as PIERS Global Intelligence Solutions and a number of other magazines and directories. I wanted to take the opportunity to offer some background on this transaction, as this is nothing short of a terrific development for this company and our customers.
