Jul. 24--Authorities said a Mooresville woman died Friday in what appears to be an accidental drowning.

Denice Plemmons, 41, of Island Cove Lane, was reported missing Friday by her husband Scott Plemmons after their three children could not find her, said Iredell County Sheriff's Detective J.T. Smith.

Her body was discovered under her home's dock at 8:46 p.m. Friday, he said.

"At this point there is no reason to suspect foul play," Smith said.…
