Jun. 22--HICKORY GROVE -- Cars driving past Hickory Grove-Sharon Elementary will need to slow down when school starts in August. York County officials sent a letter to York School District One Superintendent Russell Booker notifying him that the speed limit on S.C. 211 in front of the school will drop from 55 to 45 miles per hour this summer.
