Mehtarlam, 22 July: Unidentified gunmen overnight shot dead one police officer, injured another and destroyed a fuel tanker in eastern Laghman Province, security officials said Saturday. Separately, gunmen fired two rockets on Mehtarlam, the provincial capital of the province, but caused no casualties.
