P9M per town needed to contain abaca diseases.

The government needs to allocate at least P9 million for every abaca- producing town to eradicate and contain diseases plaguing abaca plants, Philippine Chamber of Handicraft Industries executive director Salvio Valenzuela said in a statement yesterday.
