President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo yesterday ordered the release of P150 million, to add to the funds that the OWWA has made available, for the evacuation of Filipinos from Lebanon.

She also said the government is focused on a "zero-casualty goal" in its evacuation effort.

Meanwhile, Middle East Preparedness Team head Roy Cimatu, interviewed by reporters on his way to Damascus yesterday, said he recommended a change of plans in the evacuation of the first batch of 200 Filipinos.
