This volume contains thirty-eight essays authored by Dr. Alfred K'aiming Ch'iu (1898-1977), a great pioneer in Asian American librarianship and the founder of Harvard-Yenching Library, with introductory essays by Dr. Tsuenhsuin Tsien and Dr. Cheng Huanwen.
