The joint Parliamentary committee probing the Artur brothers saga will stage public hearings if the House passes a motion seeking to allow this.

National Assembly Speaker Francis ole Kaparo has approved a motion by the joint committee seeking the House's permission to open its proceedings to the public.

Yesterday, sources said Mr Kaparo had allowed the two committees on Administration of Justice and Legal Affairs (led by Mr Paul Muite) and National Security and Local Authorities (led by Ramadhan Kajembe) to summon all people who will be mentioned by witnesses appearing before it. …
