QUESTION: What does the "boutique" part of the hotel's name mean?
ANSWER: Boutique hotels are based on small European hotels, family-owned and operated, where you get the family feeling when you walk in the door. You're going to come in contact with the same staff member more than once. The person who checked you in might be the person who helps you with your luggage, or brings something up to your room. We only have 26 employees in a 73-room hotel, so everybody chips in. Everybody does everything around here.
Q: You're in charge of making sure guests get the boutique experience. What does that entail?
