Jul. 14--When Michelle Moran's pet sitter decided to get out of the business a few months ago, it was no small concern.
Moran, 47, had trusted the same sitter for five years. She regards a pet sitter as a small luxury, which allows her to work the hours her job at Rockwell Collins requires and to take an occasional bike ride without worries of shortchanging her beloved dogs, Patrick and Bridgette.
"I view it as, I don't have children, so I choose to spend my retirement on my 'kids,'" she said.
