It is an iconic brand, hut it doesn't surprise me. The landscape has changed from when there was only a handful of channels and we know that pure pop music is not as powerful as it once was. Recently, other brands have been removed from the landscape such as Party In The Park and Smash Hits

It's sad because it is an institution. The BBC can try something fresh and different, hut it can't replace TOTP because it was the first to pioneer music on TV. I'll miss going down there
