[Presenter] The Bayelsa State government has set up a committee to draft legislative proposals on how to deal with the incessant cases of hostage taken and other acts of terrorism in the Niger Delta region.

Governor Goodluck Jonathan, who was represented by the state attorney-general and commissioner of justice at the inauguration ceremony charged the committee to come out with proposals that would curb the spate of criminal crises in the state.
