"There's no specific reason why we're always quick here,'' said Michael Schumacher after winning the United States Grand Prix at Indianapolis for the fifth time in seven years. "It's just a coincidence, really, but a welcome coincidence, I must say.''

As usual Ferrari had Indy bought and paid for almost from the opening of the track on Friday morning. Schumacher's teammate Felipe Massa was easily able to qualify and finish second, well clear of the Renaults, Giancarlo Fisichella having the edge on Fernando Alonso here.
