Science fiction?

That's what one analyst called Las Vegas billionaire Kirk Kerkorian's proposed alliance between General Motors and Renault-Nissan. Kerkorian holds 9.9 percent of GM's stock, making him the largest shareholder. His proposal calls for Renault-Nissan to take a minority stake in GM, 10 percent each for Renault and Nissan.
