From Le Mans to our driveway
Congratulations to Audi and its racing team for their uneventful yet spectacular history-making win of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
It would seem with the new diesel fuel improvements and the rising price of gasoline, a golden opportunity exists for Audi in the United States for high-performance diesel sedans. When can we expect to see a few hot twin-turbo diesels stateside?

Editor's note: We asked and were told the earliest date for Audi to sell diesels in the States is estimated at 2008, but the company can't guarantee it, as it's still working on the technology and to make it cover all 50 states.
