Jul. 12--UPLAND -- A proposed 355-home development near Cable Airport is up for discussion tonight by the Planning Commission.
Lewis Operating Corp.'s Upland Crossing, as the 30-acre project is called, would include single-family homes and townhomes ranging in size from 1,100 to 1,700 square feet. Sales could begin as early as mid-2007 and units could sell from the low $400,000s to the mid-$500,000s, said Randall Lewis, Lewis' executive vice president. The Planning Commission was scheduled to review the project June 28, but the discussion was postponed because two airport land-use committee members could not attend the meeting.
