British court finds Apple's iTunes did not violate agreement with the Beatles' Apple Corps.

The Beatles' record company, Apple Corps, Ltd., (Corps) brought a claim for breach of a trademark agreement against Apple Computer, Inc., (Computer) in the High Court of Justice, Chancery Division in England. [Apple Corps, Ltd. and Apple Computer, Inc., No. HC03C0248 (05/08/2006).] Corps claimed that Computer had breached an agreement in which the parties had sought to arrive at an understanding as to how each would use their respective similar trademarks by creating and operating its iTunes music download service.
