Oxford dictionaries dial into mobile phones
A new service from Oxford University Press (OUP) enables users to receive word definitions on their mobile phones from the publisher's dictionary range. At any time of the day or night, mobile phone users in the UK will be able to text the word to a given number and receive the definition as a text message. The service will be charged at the user's standard SMS network rate for each look-up request. Subsequent look-ups will be charged at 25p plus the standard SMS rate from the network. Data charges will also apply to any information delivered using WAP.

The NTIS database on Dialog contains two million records, providing summaries of government reports. NTIS, an agency of the US Department of Commerce's Technology Administration, is the federal government's central repository and primary disseminator of scientific, technical, engineering and related business information.
