Non-contact CDA determines temperature of combustion gases in waste incinerators and electric utility boilers burning coal, gas, or oil. Insensitive to presence of gases other than CO2, product sees through cold CO2 to measure hot atmosphere beyond. It is also relatively insensitive to particulate matter in atmosphere. Capable of measuring true gas temperature from 750-3,270[degrees]F, unit mounts outside of incinerator and has air- or water-cooled protection jacket.
