APPOINTMENTS
Livedoor Auto Co. decided to reinstate Hiroshi Haneda as a board director though he was dismissed as president in February over alleged financial misconduct by parent firm Livedoor Co. came to light.
Haneda, 39, is highly popular among the young staff at Livedoor Auto. His reappointment was approved at the Livedoor Auto shareholders meeting. Haneda will work part-time for now, but is expected to be granted permanent executive status in the future.
Haneda first declined Livedoor's offer to reemploy him as director at Livedoor Auto, but accepted when the used car dealer asked him to reconsider. …
