Jul. 3--Even when sweltering heat wilts the flowers that are always turning up at her daughter's grave, Esther Svidersky is there.

"Every day, it's new flowers," she said, shaking her head in amazement.

Hundreds are still remembering 17-year-old Anna Svidersky, including with donations estimated at more than $100,000.

It's all in memory of the Fort Vancouver High School student who was killed April 20, six days before her 18th birthday. A man with a history of mental illness and violence, David Barton Sullivan, stabbed Anna as she took a break from her shift at the McDonald's on Andresen Road. He is in the Clark County Jail, waiting to go to Western State Hospital for a psychological evaluation.

Her death sent ripples of grief through Fort Vancouver High School, where she was a popular member of the senior class.

News of Anna's death also spread through the World Wide Web, where people learned of the crime through the community created on MySpace.com.
