Q I had been dating this guy for a few weeks when he suddenly stopped calling, e-mailing, and returning my messages. Then just last week, he called me and said he had liked me so much that he had freaked out. Should I believe him?

A I hate to say it, but when a guy likes you "so much," he usually sticks around to see where it will go; he doesn't run for the nearest exit. I mean, maybe he actually did like you so much that it overwhelmed him, but I bet there were other issues at play.
