Chinese bank sacks employees for graft BEIJING The Agricultural Bank of China has sacked 64 employees and taken disciplinary action against nearly 1300 others after an audit found irregularities worth $6,45bn, state media reported yesterday.

Twenty-one of 1331 employees who face disciplinary action had been referred to judicial authorities, the Beijing Times reported.

Sixty-four people were fired and another 60 removed from their positions, including three provincial-level branch managers, the report said.
