FT embargo extended to 24 hours

The Financial Times (FT) is to extend an embargo on feeds of its content to news aggregators until midnight on the day of publication.
This new move will quadruple the amount of time users of services like LexisNexis and Factiva will have to wait to access content from the financial newspaper.
The FT introduced a 12-hour embargo on content being made available by aggregator firms last November, but from 1 September this year it will extend the embargo to 24 hours following initial publication.
