It occurs to me that planning a whole department's travel and educational expenses is tough work. This brainstorm comes after receiving many inquiries from readers about events -- in both the short and long terms. Typically, readers will call in with a list of events, trying to determine which are appropriate for them, who sponsors them, and where they are held. Although I'm delighted to chat with you about events and try to reply to inquiries, I'd like to tell you about some resources that may help you plan where to go and what to do when you get there.
