Costa Mesa
Costa Mesa is an urban area, with John Wayne Airport, South Coast Plaza, and commercial high rises. The lodgings here are mainly business and conference hotels and, while this community may not spring to mind when you think of romantic weekend getaways, there are lots of possibilities, because Costa Mesa is the cultural hub of Orange County.
