Jun. 28--LODI -- Upgrades to Bear Creek High School will be the top priority of a $114 million bond measure being placed before north Stockton voters in November, Lodi Unified School District officials said.

In a special meeting in Lodi on Tuesday, the Board of Trustees finalized its plan to float its second $100 million-plus bond measure this decade to build new schools.

This try will be presented to Stockton voters in November and will need a 55 percent majority vote to pass. The bonds would be paid for with a home-owners tax of up to $60 per $100,000 assessed home value per year.
