Jun. 28--A Nebraska truck driver died Tuesday in a single-vehicle accident 15 miles southeast of Eads in Kiowa County.

Clyde G. Rager, 50, of Ponca, Neb., was pronounced dead at the scene by Kiowa County Coroner John Hadley.

The accident occurred at 8:45 a.m. on Kiowa County Road 49, according to Colorado State Patrol Sgt. Brian Lyons.

Rager was driving north in a 2004 Volvo semitrailer loaded with 30,000 pounds of bagged hay cubes, when the vehicle ran off the left side of the road onto a grass…
