Jun. 26--SPRING VALLEY LAKE -- Realtors showing homes anywhere in California are required to disclose any nuisance that affects the home, and the smell coming from a nearby pet food factory is no exception.
"If one of my agents is involved in a transaction there, they will be telling the buyer, absolutely," said Chuck Knapp, president of the Victor Valley Association of Realtors and owner of Century 21 Desert Rock. "We would only mention that because the most important thing is to let the buyer know that they may have that odor."
