Charles Lester Wimbley, CEO and founder of the Itasca, IL-based advertising agency the Wimbley Group, Inc., recently died after a bout with kidney disease and diabetes at his home in Barrington, IL. He was 60.
Wimbley, born in Shorter, AL, graduated from Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, MI, and obtained his MBA at Western Michigan University. He began his successful 36-year career in marketing management at the Upjohn Company in Kalamazoo, MI.
