EFFORTS by the Advanced Congress of Democrats(ACD),to launch its Nasarawa State branch on yesterday suffered a setback as the state police command sealed off the three venues it intended to use for the programme.

The state Police Commissioner, Alhaji Mohammed Zarewa had told newsmen last week Thursday,in Lafia,that his Command was not aware of the planned launch of the party in the state even as the ACD spokeman in the state, Alhaji Musa Illu,faulted the claim, saying the police was only being economical with the truth.
