Jun. 23--Standing still, the tiny car made of wood, plastic, metal and gumption might not turn many heads. But once it's in motion, jaws are certain to drop. Eyes will widen. Words could be lost. Four Amphitheater Middle School students hope their invention is perceived that way this weekend, when they travel with four graduates of Pueblo Magnet High School to the MESA USA National Engineering Design Competition in California.
