Jun. 21--Supervised arts, crafts, games, sports and other activities will be offered to kids from ages 6 to 12 this summer at eight Metro Parks playgrounds in Tacoma. In addition, free lunches will be served to all youths up to age 19 while supplies last each day, according to a press release. The Metro Parks summer playground program begins Friday and runs through Aug. 26. Lunch will be served from noon to 1 p.m. weekdays only; snacks are available from 4 to 4:30 p.m. weekdays.
