From the 17th century to the second World War, Frankfurt remained the key book fair city, and successfully organized the first post-war book fair in 1949 that featured 205 exhibitors

Through the benefits of technology transfer, the world's publishing industry has come a long way since the inception of Guttenberg's printing machine

Even Bangkok successfully organized their third international book fair in April this year, with over 1,5 million visitors and UK publishers as Guests of Honor. The Bangkok organizer is looking ahead to invite publishers of Spanish-speaking countries as the highlight of the next book fair

Meanwhile, our very own Indonesian Publishers Association (IKAPI) hosted the 25th Indonesian Book Fair in December 2005
