Taiwan's Venture Capital Investments Score 10 Year Low.

Taipei, June 16, 2006 (CENS)--Total capital placed by Taiwan's venture capital funds in investment portfolios hit a 10 year low last year, but average earnings per share from their investments, as well as the funds' total earnings/total capitalization ratio, reached four year highs, according to statistics recently released by the Taiwan Venture Capital Association. Throughout last year, Taiwan's venture capital industry invested NT$10.8 billion (US$339 million at US$1:NT$32), shrinking 28% from 2004.
