Jun. 12--At least two Labette County High School students are dead, and another student and a teacher are missing, after being swept away by an ocean current Saturday in Costa Rica.
Ten students and two sponsors were on a trip for students in advanced Spanish classes. The group was swimming at a Pacific Coast beach near the town of Parrita, about 180 miles south of the Costa Rican capital of San Jose.
The bodies of senior Danielle Tongier and junior Andrew Harpstrite have been recovered. Tongier's body was found immediately. Harpstrite's body was found Sunday.
Tongier's mother was the other sponsor on the trip.…
