* The story so far: Last month, K. and her online suitor, Suburbs Guy, took their relationship to the (very sexy) next level. Much to K.'s dismay, he went MIA shortly thereafter. Luckily, she's been distracted by her new job at a TV station, where she has a couple of cute coworkers. But can she handle the pressure? And will Suburbs Guy ever resurface? If he does, will K. give him a second chance?

Hot off the Press

The new job is, how do you say? Kicking my ass.

The people are really nice though, and while I'm missing my buddy Brad at the old station, I think I'll have some new work friends soon. I don't have an impossibly gorgeous, married boss who pays entirely too much attention to me at this station, but I do have two H-O-T tech guys who have been more than friendly. Way more. So far, I keep the flirting to a minimum since I know damn well how sticky it can be when you date a coworker and it doesn't work out. Stay strong, K. Must. Not. Give. In. To. Temptation!

Resisting the guys would be a helluva lot easier if Suburbs Guy would show his freakin' face again. I mean, what the hell? Jane thinks something must have happened, and he'll show up soon with a perfectly good excuse. Sarah's explanation: "Whatev, he sucks." She might have a point, but I'd rather believe that it was an alien abduction than a case of the he's-just-not-that-into-yous.
