Based on ARM9 processor and Linux OS, single-port PocketPAD FX connects asynchronous serial RS232 device to 100 Mb fiber optic Ethernet network. Device network connectivity is provided via UDP/IP and TCP/IP, and supported serial mode protocols range from Raw to TC500. Web-enabled, stand-alone device allows for configuration via standard Web browser and supports simultaneous multiple network connections to same serial data stream.
