Four U.S. logistics companies are putting to the test the old maxim that sometimes the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.
Warehouse and consolidation specialist CaseStack is merging with a provider of value-added services to shippers in China, Atomicbox Logistics, to broaden service opportunities at both companies. Meanwhile, Pacer Distribution Services, the warehousing and distribution arm of Pacer International, teamed with warehouse chain E*Fill America to boost distribution and logistics services.
